I have been a bit frustrated lately. Frustrated with clay mostly and just this hobby in general. I don't really know where I am going with this polymer clay stuff and I don't really know if I will ever be able to sell my creations. I love making little cute jewelry but I love making realistic miniature scenes as well. I'm not sure if I should stick to one or do a little bit of both. I guess it won't hurt doing a bit of both. =) But this is not the only thing on my mind when it comes to polymer clay. I wish I could just pop in to Michaels or Hobby Lobby and grab everything I need/want in one go. But it is not like that for me here. I have to wait about 4-5 more weeks for some paper cutters that I ordered and probably about the same if I ordered anything online from ebay. I have to measure my spending and make sure not to pay ridiculous shipping fees for small items. So, part of me is waiting for this summer so I can buy what I need at Michaels or Hobby Lobby since I will be going to Colorado again in July. =) yay! So, since I don't have what I want at the moment I decided to just go back to the basics so to speak. I decided to make what I first made when I bought my first package of polymer clay...DONUTS! And now I also have micro marbles and have been dying to use them on little donuts ever since I got them. So I made a necklace and earrings in my new favorite color inspired by Alice in Wonderland. I also made little boxes to go along with them. I printed them from miniatures.about.com because I haven't really put together a miniature box before. They are a bit tedious and I cut and glued them in between laundry, housework and taking care of my kids. I really do like them and now I know what I need to do to make my own. =) Just take a look at the top of the boxes. I cut out the tops and glued a piece of plastic that I cut out from left over packaging. I save a lot of stuff! =)
And me wearing the earrings and necklace. I am going to have to wear these out someday! =D
I really enjoy making colorful happy things and I also love making things that have to do with my Mexican culture. I will be doing some more exploring. This is after all my journey and I hope I find my way soon. I just wish I had more time! But alas, I have little ones to take care of first. =)

These are so cute:) Try selling them at Etsy.
Hope you find more stuff here soon. I know there is a big scrapbook shop in Strømmen:) Maybe they carry something you could fancy.
Thanks for your comment =) I am slowly discovering new stores. I do not get out much lol Just around my area =) I do not have my Norwegian license yet and I'd be too scared to drive in the city anyway... haha =) You have been a huge help though! We will be going to those shops you told me about this weekend. Can't wait!
