I sat down last night after the kids went to bed, to make my first kiwi cane. I thought it would turn out much much worse but...it did not. =) I think I like it. It could be a bit better but I am happy with this and I'll be using it for sure! I can't wait to make a tomato cane now! I hope that one turns out just as great. =) I love Angie Scarr and her books are just awesome! I had a bit of trouble with the flesh colored clay that I mixed. It was so darn soft! But it worked out in the end. I suppose I could have put it in the freezer for a minute or two but I was too lazy :-P all my other translucent clay never used to be this soft. Don't know why it's so soft all of a sudden. =) but its all good!
I also wash my hands all the time and have a big bottle of lotion within reach at all times. lol My hands get pretty dry. So excuse the hands! ;-)
