Taking a break...

I have decided to take a break from miniature making. It takes up way too much of my time and at the moment I have lots of Spring cleaning to do. =( I know I have lots of junk in each room that I have to sort through and throw away. I am not really looking forward to cleaning period but it's got to be done someday and between now and when my parents come is the best time to start! =) I hope to get this place in order from top to bottom. I want to get a bit more organized too. So hopefully by the time my parents arrive this place will be unrecognizable to myself and my kids. lol Nah, I just want it to shine! But I do know we have a lot of useless junk in every room that's been bothering me for quite some time now. The sun is shining beautifully today and I am sitting here procrastinating. I dread cleaning. I am so bad. =) But I know once I get into it I will enjoy it a bit more and once I am finished with it all I will be quite satisfied. I am a bit disappointed that I have to put away my clay for awhile. But I do need to concentrate on other things at the moment.

I won't be making hardly anything between now and August. Spring cleaning, then my parents, then vacation in Paris, London and Colorado USA. =) I am looking forward to it! I am looking forward to taking pictures of it all! I just can't wait to go back to Colorado and go shopping! Especially at Michael's and Hobby Lobby! I have a list of things I am going to bring back with me. I can't wait to try it all! Especially some new clay. Harder clay for making canes because I'm sure once I get my hands on some, my canes will look a bit better.

Well enough of my blabbing...I made some bowls the other day. I like making my own dishes...sometimes. I hate working with white clay though. It can never stay clean!
