This summer...

Well, this post will not contain any miniature foods or anything. I have not been able to make anything lately. I've been too busy trying to reorganize my house and I'm kind of at a stand still because I have lots of boxes going to storage but have no where to put them! We have an attic, a small one, but it did not come with flooring because we never told the people who were making it to put some flooring in. Um hello...think! I'm glad we told them to put in a small pantry. I don't know where I'd keep my food if I didn't have that pantry. Anyway, we will be cleaning out our outdoor shed on May 16th. Hopefully we'll be able to make room for at least 3-4 boxes of stuff. I know that shed is a mess! But in the meantime I am cleaning out cupboards. Oh isn't Spring cleaning fun? I have to remember to try to take small breaks to attend to my kids that are usually running around wild behind me, around me, all over the place playing and yelling. ;-) Oh joy! My son was actually helping me a bit yesterday though.

Anyway, about this summer. We will be going to Paris and London this summer. Yay! There is a miniatures fair in Paris this summer and we kind of sorta planned to go but I told my husband that it wasn't top priority for me. I mean, we will be in Paris! I don't know if I want to spend a couple of hours there when I could be spending it at some fabulous attraction. So unfortunately we will not be able to attend the miniatures fair. I really do want to though. I just don't know if we will have the time for it. We are only going to be in Paris for almost 2 days. It's more like 1 3/4ths day and then we are coming back home. And there is so much to see elsewhere. But we will play it by ear and see. I am hoping to get a very early start each morning to get the most out of Paris in that short amount of time. =) But even if I don't attend the miniatures fair I'm sure there will be others and this will not discourage me from continuing making my miniatures. I might never be able to sell them but I am at least making them for fun for myself and maybe friends. =) That's all for today. I'm going to continue cleaning my kitchen today. I thought I'd get all of it done yesterday but in 4 hours of cleaning out cupboards and cleaning them inside and out I only managed to get 1/4ths of the kitchen done. lol
